The Xros 5 vape pod kit by Vaporesso is a newer, updated version of the previous Xros models, with some exciting new technology. The Xros 5 features a smooth and sleek body, introducing the first 0.88" HD screen on the original Xros series. In its ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing body, it hides a whopping 1500mAh battery, 50% bigger than its Xros 4 predecessor. The Xros 5 has been developed alongside Vaporesso's COREX 3.0 technology which now offers longer-lasting pods, as well as multiple customisation options on the theme and settings on the device.
Display, Output & Customisation
The Xros 5 comes with many display and output upgrades including a new 0.88" HD screen, button and inhale activation, and airflow control. All of these features combined makes the Xros 5 stand out as a pod kit currently on the market. The button located on the side of the device features multiple uses, ensuring you get the best possible experience with the least amount of faff.
0.88" HD Screen
For the first time in the Xros range, the Xros 5 offers 6 different customised screen options. Each design shows the main information like power mode, battery percentage, puff count, and lock status. You can match the screen interface to the style of your kit, or completely contrast it and let it stand out.
Button Control & Settings
The Xros 5 features 5 different button operations. Each of these settings give you full control over your vape, as well as the vaping experience. To access each setting you use:
- 1 Click: Activates the device (lights it up to view the screen)
- 2 Clicks: Changes the theme. There are 6 themes to choose from.
- 3 Clicks: Adjusts the power (if using 0.4ohm pod) or changes the mode between ECO & PWR if using any other Xros pod.
- 4 Clicks: Reveals the settings menu. Here you can toggle the animations, lock the button, and lock the screen.
- 5 Clicks: 5 consecutive clicks turns the device on/off.
Airflow Control
Like the previous Xros models, the Xros 5 keeps its fantastic airflow control slider. The sliding button is located on the side of the device. This airflow control lets you select a MTL (mouth-to-lung, like a cigarette) or RDTL (restricted-direct-to-lung, a looser drag) experience. Combining the airflow control with one of the 5 different pod resistances allows further customisation of your experience.
Battery
The Vaporesso Xros 5 internal battery features a whopping 1500mAh battery, a 50% increase from the previous Xros 4. In addition to featuring a bigger battery, the Xros 5 is designed with ultra fast charging, 3A in fact. This addition allows the Xros 5 to charge from 0%-80% in as little as 20 minutes, never leaving you without a vape for long. The huge battery on the Xros 5 can be charged via the USB-C port located on the side of the device.
